ABIDE

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me and I in Him, bears much fruit, for without me you can do nothing. John 15: 4 to 5 (NKJV)"

TO “ABIDE” means to remain, to continue, to stay, to dwell, to reside, to continue in a particular condition, attitude or relationship, to last. In order for us to lead our families, our ministries, a small group, or to just lead a fruitful Christian life, we must frequently withdraw away with the Father.

John 5:19 NIV says, “Jesus gave them this answer, ‘Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing, because whatever the Father does, the Son also does.”

Our strength, our energy, our vision, our power, the healings, the miracles, the signs, our ability to lead, our fruits ….they all come from abiding in the presence of the Father

Matthew 11:28-30 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
